Yumi gets new leggings

I sent for new tights and socks for all my girls from Dale Rae at Denver Doll Emporium. They have a huge selection of styles and fabrics, and are soooo well made!

I made Yumi a little swingy dress from some sort of Japane style fabric.

Frank's destruction

My Cape Parrot, Frank, the sweetest thing in the world and my soulmate, somehow (I discovered after the fact), got to Yumi and chewed up her hands and feet. I got online immediately upon finding the destruction, and now it seems I'll be getting not one but two sets of hands and feet for her. One from the Elfdoll site, and one from the American Elfdoll rep, Ms. Cholong, via the really wonderful folks at Dolls & Friends. I emailed them at 10pm on a saturday, and they got back within minutes with Ms. Cholong's email. So I guess I was a bit overzealous in seeking replacements!

YUMI, yes YUMI!

I got another freakin doll...I fell for Elfdoll's Lovelydoll Special Yumi...she is the most realistic looking Asian looking bjd that I've seen. She came with a lot of great stuff, but she is the most fun to sew for ! She's fairly small, a slender msd size, and I'm totally in love with her...

Lola dressed herself...

Okay then I got a Seola 13 head....

I saw some pictures on the Dollstown site of the Seola 13 year old's head, and I flipped out and felt the need to get it. Of course I have no body for it, so I took Pascale's head off and replaced it. I do love both of those sculpts, but right now I'm leaving Pascale as a floating head. Someday she'll get her own body...

I finally, some time ago, got a body for my Dollstown Yeondu head, then sold my Volks Emma doll, whose body I'd been using for Pascale (my Yeondu's name)...

New shoes and socks!

I finally made Stella a pair of stockings, and she's now up to 2 pairs of shoes, with 2 more on the way. And that will be it or she'll become a shoe-oholic like me:
