Mochi!!

Made another pink kitty, and his cheeks look so much like a strawberry mochi ball...that had to be his name...curly Schulte mohair and wool roving dyed in cherry koolaid, big blue taxidermy glass eyes, linen whiskers...yum:

Alfie the Lover!!

Had to try an elly out of the other new roving I just bought....it's got a silvery sparkle spun through it...

Elephant-itis!!!

I can't stop making these ellies...I got some really pretty new rovings at a little yarn shop I just discovered nearby. This purple has multi-colored strands of sparkly metallic threads all through it, and the peachy pink gradated from a hot pink to a peachy pink with pearlescent thread throughout. SOOOOO pretty! made locally too!

This one was a custom request for a different body type....

And this one is in Aqua dyed in blueberry Koolaid...I think he's the best I've made yet...not sure I can let him go!

Valentina the Valentine Elephant

Just made a sweet pink (Cherry Koolaid-dyed) valentine elephant. I took two shots before my camera battery died....she will go into the shop tomorrow:

Moira

...a most tiny mohair mouse...a while ago I ordered this distressed string mohair, and it's been sitting there staring at me. Out came little Moira. I named her Moira because as I finished her up, I was watching the movie "The Red Shoes"...she is named for Moira Shearer, the ballerina who played Victoria Page in the movie (one of my all-time faves).

Little Big Planet finished!

Just finished up this custom order of the Little Big Planet lion, with box...here are a few shots. He's jointed and I put a wire in his tail. He was really fun to make, but the box was a lot trickier and more time consuming than I had though it would be!
