Just finished up three critters this weekend from my tiny mouse pattern...but one is bat...

And last but certainly not least...a little Baby BAT for Halloween!
I felt that itch to make a mouse. When I get it I have to scratch it. So here is Goldie....made of yellow mohair with needle felted arms, legs and tail....and glass google eyes.

This little guy is a custom request, and it took me so long to figure out how to go about it! I'm always very tentative about doing beloved pets because I never think I'll do them justice....but it is always really gratifying because I like the challenge!! So here is Iggy:
I almost ordered some white curly mohair the other day, so I could make a white lamb with a black face...then I went through my mohair stash just to organize it and found a great big piece of the very stuff I'd almost ordered! And Farley was born...

...a most tiny mohair mouse...a while ago I ordered this distressed string mohair, and it's been sitting there staring at me. Out came little Moira. I named her Moira because as I finished her up, I was watching the movie "The Red Shoes"...she is named for Moira Shearer, the ballerina who played Victoria Page in the movie (one of my all-time faves).
