I've been commissioned to re-create the animals from Mark Ryden's painting "Sophia's Mercurial Waters"

So far I've done the elephant and puppy:

Parrots!

I've made three parrots in the past week...a scarlet macaw, a blue & gold macaw, and a female eclectus:

Elly and Giraffe

These two little ones were a special order...they were so fun, I've got to do more little whimsies like them...

Flying Monkey!!

I was commissioned by Grenadine Supreme (Ion) to do a tiny blue Wizard of Oz flying monkey for his Blythe...I was sooooo excited to try it and he turned out pretty well I think....I hate to send him on his way!

Tiny Dormouse

I just felt I needed to make a really really tiny needle felted dormouse...about 1.75 inches high...

 

PIGS!!

I messed up the ears on a needle felted cat, and decided they looked like pig's ears...and since pigs are so adorable, and of course should not be eaten (!), I made some pigs:

More Needlefelting Mania

I was making all these little needlefelted tiny teddies and one came out with an ear that was too pointy, so I thought: CAT!  Then later on after finishing a whit polar bear, I thought: Panda! I'm trying to keep them dolly sized: 2 inches tall, "palm-sized"...

Tiny Teddy Obsession

I'm obsessively needlefelting these tiny teds for Lati Yellow dolls. They are so much fun I can't stop! I've decided each one is a flavor. I bought a lot of wool to make pastries, so all the colors are really flavors to me already. There will be Lemon, raspberry, cherry, tangerine, lime, banana, coconut, peach, chocolate, latte, cotton candy, blueberry....They are all fully jointed and take longer than they should to finish. But I don't care.

Pinky Mouse

Decided the last little scrap of pale alpaca fabric I had needed to be kool-aid dyed with cherry, but pale this time. First time around, it got SO bright. So I've had this nice pink piece around, and finally went to work on a mouse...made from my rabbit pattern. I needlefelted the arms and legs and tail. I really love him!
