Bebe the Blue Bunny

I am letting yet one more mohair bunny out of the studio...made of this luxurious curly mohair dyed periwinkle blue, with a bright blue backing that peeks out here and there.

Again, the albino taxidermy eyes which are so perfect for buns.

 

 

Honey the Bunny Revamp

So I was just not comfortable with the acrylic eyes on Honey...it feels wrong on a mohair piece, even though they were pretty cute and of high quality.

So I changed them to my favorite albino glass taxidermy eyes...

 

Chloe the Pink Bun

Ooooh! Just finished Chloe...and I really like her! Love when I finish something and it makes me smile...she is made of some distressed string mohair in a really faint pink with pink backing. I used some of my favorite ivory satin in her ears, and taxidermy eyes...and of course a needle felted wool face.

 

 

Honey the Bunny

I've finally made this little mohair and needle felted bun I've been dreaming about for so long. She's a larger version of the all-felted one I've done, and she's larger...6/7 inches tall. I bought the hot pink mohair a while ago and I'm glad I saved it until now. It was perfect for her.

I fashioned a new pattern for her body, and put darts in her head for dimension. It all fell together so easily and she's kind of a sweetie.

 

 

 

Mohair Schnauzer Dog

Just finished up this little Schnauzer puppy commission...he's my first mohair dog.

 

 

 

Tweaked Green Bunny and White Dotted Giraffe

I remade my Green Retro Bunny, and also made a White Giraffe on request...the giraffe was so much fun to make, all wired inside...and this bunny made me happier than any of the others. His eyes are a tad larger, and he has a tail-on-a-wire:

Retro Bun in custom colors

Just finished this little Bunny for kogepanic, in specially dyed turquoise and pinks...
